What is anxiety?

Anxiety is normal human tendency which is experienced by everyone anytime. The Anxiety occur mainly when a person nervous, when faced with a problem at work, before taking a test, or making an important decision. Causes of Anxiety:-

  • The exact cause of anxiety is yet unknown, but the anxiety disorder like other form of mental illness are not the result of the personal weakness. According to a research on anxiety, it is approx clear that anxiety is a combination of the change in brain conditions, change in environmental stress.
  • The anxiety and stress are related to each other, it also causes the problems in functioning of brain that circulates fear and emotions.
  • The anxiety environmental includes stress at work, stress in school, stress in finance & money, stress from a natural  disaster, lack of oxygen at high altitude.
  • Medical factors which causes anxiety Side  affect of medication, symptoms of medical illness.
  • Withdrawal from an illicit drug, such as heroin, or from prescription drugs like Vicodin, benzodiazepines, or barbiturates.

Symptoms of anxiety :-

The symptoms of anxiety vary  with time and types of disorders. But the symptoms of anxiety generally includes:-

  • Shortness of breath
  • Heart palpitations
  • An inability to be still and calm
  • Dry mouth
  • Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
  • Feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness
  • Problems sleeping
  • Cold or sweaty hands and/or feet
  • Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet
  • Nausea Muscle tension
  • Dizziness

How to deal with Anxiety:- 

Managing stress is difficult but several strategies can help you to cope with it.  

  • Limit alcohol and caffeine
  • Get enough sleep
  • Take deep breaths
  • Accept that you cannot control everything
  • Learn what triggers your anxiety
  • Contact with doctors
